Welcome to the website of Providence Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina. Our overarching desire is to fulfill the purpose for which God created us: to glorify Him by enjoying Him forever. It is our great delight to take the gospel to the nations that they too might find their joy in Christ, and in so doing, bring honor to Him.
Among other things, we value sound doctrine, prayer, worship, fellowship, and an "others oriented" outlook. As we gather to worship, our prayer is that God would fill our hearts to the point of overflowing that we are then compelled to engage in "one anothering" ministry within the body of Christ itself that we might be both equipped and further compelled to scatter and evangelize, or as we like to say, "gossip the gospel."
We hope you will find some helpful resources on this website including timely articles concerning theology, cultural engagement, and Christian living, along with audio messages focused on the same. Our further hope is that you will feel the freedom to come and visit with us to see what God is doing and join us in the superlative task God has given us: making disciples who make disciples that all peoples may know Him.

Under our audio section you will soon find our sermon audio files sorted by books of the Bible rather than by date. And our content will be up to date and growing.
