Children’s Ministry - K4 to 6th Grade
Children are precious to God. The cultivation of a child’s mind through God’s Word is the very foundation upon which a child’s moral character, ideas, attitudes, and values are fashioned at Providence. We offer several opportunities for our children to learn and fellowship together.

Sunday School – Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
We offer three classes: one for K4-K5, one for 1st-3nd grade, and one for 4rd-6th grade. With a commitment to teach the Word of God, caring teachers and leaders are equipped and ready to disciple your children.

Children’s Choir 
Colossians tells us to admonish one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. We teach our Children the great hymns of the faith pointing to greatness of our Eternal God as well as God-centered choruses. We do take a break from Children’s Choir during the three Summer Months and go to a discipleship format.
 
Summer Discipleship
K4-1st Grade and 2nd Grade-6th Grade. We will impart the basics of our faith by teaching the Word of God through the Catechism. A sample question and answer: “Who made you?” “God made me.” The scriptural support for each question and answer is also provided.
 
Missions Class
This class is for K4-1st Grade. We look at God's plan to save His people from every nation and we do so throughout the entirety of the bible. The Children also learn about the people and people groups of different countries that need to hear the Word of God.
 
Bible Drill
2nd Grade-6th Grade. At Providence, we understand the need for the children to know the Word of God. In Bible drill, we help them to learn where the books of the Bible are located and then we help them memorize the Word. Other children and family activities are offered throughout the year. Some activities are service oriented, like bringing items for a girls’ orphanage in Honduras, while other activities are for fun, like going to the zoo or to the waterpark. Regardless of the event, we point the children to Christ in all that we do.
